When you need hands-on troubleshooting or maintenance services, Globix will extend
your reach in the data center with expert technicians who are on-site around the clock.
No need to disrupt one of your busy staff for system support activities. Globix Virtual
Reach makes it quicker and easier. Your wish is our command.
- Virtual Reach Basic
Provides you with five requests of up to 15 minutes each per
month, including reporting indicator light status, observing equipment functionality,
resetting a circuit breaker, reconnecting cabling, operating switches at your instruction,
reporting physical conditions in the data center, or power cycling of equipment.
- Virtual Reach Plus
Provides you with five requests of up to 30 minutes each per
month, including any of the above plus performing hardware diagnostics, issuing
OS commands via keyboard, changing storage media, reviewing equipment
installation for optimal use, or performing a soft reboot.
- Virtual Reach Premium
Provides you with five requests of up to 60 minutes each
per month, including any of the above plus installing additional customer-provided
equipment, adding peripherals or upgrades, or installing an OS patch.
24 x 7 x 365 IP Address Monitoring
Globix will check the availability of your IP Address. In the event of a problem, Globix
will notify you by alphanumeric pager within 15 minutes.
HTTP Device Monitoring and Pattern Match
Globix will monitor up to five HTTP addresses per server and check the availability,
content and response time of the specified HTTP addresses.
CGI-Bin Form Entry Monitoring
If your Web site includes forms that viewers can fill out and return to you, Globix will
monitor this function to ensure that your HTTP or HTTPS device is accepting the forms.
FTP Get File Monitoring
If your Web site enables viewers to upload or download files, Globix will monitor
their transfer and notify you if the files are not being transferred properly.
Server Threshold Monitoring
Globix will provide you with the ability to check, via browser, your critical server
thresholds, including CPU utilization, memory statistics and network interface statistics.
In the case that any of your defined thresholds are exceeded, Globix will notify you
by alphanumeric pager within 15 minutes.
Bandwidth Reporting
Globix will provide you with the ability to check your bandwidth utilization and
network health via a Web browser.
Web Statistic Reporting
You will be able to check reported figures such as the number of requests your Web
site receives, the distinct files requested, distinct hosts served and other details.
