Equipment Options
Globix supports most leading Internet hardware and software platforms, including
those from Check Point Software, Cisco, Compaq, Microsoft, Netscape, Storage
Technologies and Sun Microsystems. You may purchase or rent equipment and
applications from Globix, or bring your own. In addition, enclosures can be outfitted
for multiple, redundant network hand-offs.
Installation Options
Globix offers a modular system-implementation solution so you can select the type
of installation that fits your needs. Globix will pre-configure and install standard
equipment and provide custom installation for special configurations. Alternatively,
you can have your equipment delivered directly to the Globix SuperPOP for your own
installation and configuration.
Security Options
Globix offers a full product line of standard firewall configurations that are optimized
for use with Globix Co-Location connections to the Internet. Globix security
professionals will help you with security policy and planning for secure Internet
connectivity. For special needs, Globix security experts who specialize in
firewall technology and content security can engineer and implement a custom
solution for you.
Monitoring Options
If you choose, Globix will monitor your Web server 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,
from our state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar Global Network Operations Center.
Should a problem arise, the Globix support team can resolve it, typically before you
even know about it. Of course, if you prefer to handle monitoring and maintenance
yourself, we’ll support you every step of the way.
Globix offers the following automated system monitoring services to ensure your
