NEW YORK – July 22, 1999 – Globix Corporation (NASDAQ: GBIX) today announced that it has joined with Intel, RealNetworks and Compaq, sponsors of the Digital Club Festival to help bring concert-goers and music lovers an online destination to watch and listen to the world’s largest online music event.

The Digital Club Festival, which takes place July 20-23 and features more than 300 bands performing throughout 20 Manhattan nightspots, has chosen Globix to provide high-speed Internet access to the venues.
