By digitally organizing images, photographs, graphics, documents, audio clips, and videos, our Globix DAM system can archive large libraries of digital media assets and consolidate multiple repositories into a single, accessible location.
Enterprise-class DAM systems require a large up-front investment to purchase the software and an even larger corporate commitment for ongoing development, maintenance, and support of this initiative. Globix DAM has addressed these issues by combining leading edge technologies, our applications and database management expertise, and our Tier 1 IP network to deliver a market-leading, cost-effective solution.
We offer two levels of DAM:

Security Features
At Globix, we know that digital assets can be some of the most critical tools in an organization. For that reason, we employ a high level of security, 24×7. Our DAM solution includes several layers of security to protect digital assets. They include:
- Network Security — All Web, application, and database servers are protected by a set of redundant firewall devices that maintain a strict security policy. Storage arrays are also located behind our firewalls and are completely inaccessible from the outside.
- Communications Security — All Web communications are secured using 128-bit SSL hardware-based encryption. Passwords, http communications, and assets are secured during transit.
- Identification Security — All users must enter a unique username and password combination to be authenticated by the application. This combination generates a security certificate (similar to an X.509 certificate) that is stored on the user’s machine during the current session and dictates the user’s role, permissions, and access levels.
- Role Based Security — User roles dictate what functions they may access.
- Asset Level Security Policies — By defining security policies that are then applied to one or more assets, customers can create a very granular set of permissions to allow or deny viewing, downloading, or editing by another user/group profile.
