NEW YORK – June 25, 2003
New York – June 09, 2003 – Globix Corporation (OTC: GBXX) today announced that it had been selected by MSI magazine to provide complex hosting of the publication’s web site http://www.manufacturingsystems.com.
MSI, a member of the Reed Business Information family of publications, is a long-time customer of Globix’s Streaming Media services and recently made the decision to migrate its website to Globix as well. “Globix has been a critical partner for MSI’s streaming media events,” said Delane David, Web Development Manager. “Our success is as important to them as it is to us. You can’t ask for more than that. During the last year, it became increasingly obvious that we required a new hosting company, and Globix was the obvious choice.”
“Globix is extremely pleased to continue expanding its relationship with MSI from streaming media to complex hosting”, said Peter Stevenson, Globix’s CEO. “As a popular and technology savvy publication, MSI’s decision to host with Globix demonstrates the power of our hosting solution and the unique benefit for customers of our bundled services approach.”
Globix sees the MSI win as an even greater indicator of success, however. “Steaming media customers see a natural fit with Globix for hosting services,” said Stevenson. “As customers experience our network and data center performance firsthand they develop the high confidence level required to make the outsourcing decision on critical infrastructures. We believe customers like MSI demonstrate the power of Globix’s value proposition ranging from streaming media to collocation and hosting to our suite of managed services,” added Stevenson.
