Globix Unveils New Framework for Managed Services

Globix Corporation (GBXX) today announced a major evolutionary step in the way it delivers managed services. A new managed services framework, called PartnerPlus permits the company to continue to expand its comprehensive, Client-focused suite of managed services into new areas and to new customers. The underlying theme of PartnerPlus is accountability. “We are 100% accountable to our Clients for all of our managed services offerings. Our suite of services continues to be the most flexible, scalable and customer-friendly in the industry,” remarked Tony Previte, CTO of Globix.
For Globix Clients, PartnerPlus represents another way in which the Company can deliver solutions that enhance competitive advantage. By relieving Clients of the burden of infrastructure and systems management, they can reduce costs and deploy their skilled resources in ways that better reinforce their core businesses. “For our clientele, namely the Fortune 2000, it is increasingly important that service providers understand their competitive landscape and develop solutions that sharpen their ability to gain an edge. PartnerPlus positions Globix as a key strategic resource for our customers. The first two components of PartnerPlus are available immediately. PartnerAssist is a service whereby Clients can contract for management of their hosted web environments. Management tasks are stratified into three categories according to the skill level required for their execution. Clients can purchase pre-packaged bundles of services to meet their individual management requirements.
PartnerResponse is the component of PartnerPlus that allows Clients to choose among a range of guaranteed response intervals to maintenance incidents according to the criticality of the application. At one end of the PartnerResponse spectrum, all PartnerPlus customers are guaranteed a maximum four-hour response time to any trouble incident. There is no charge for this level of PartnerResponse. At the other end of the spectrum, Clients may choose to pay a premium for guaranteed response time as low as fifteen minutes. “PartnerPlus is all about choice for the Client. We recognize that each Client has specific requirements where managed services are concerned. We’ve engineered PartnerPlus to be flexible enough to meet the needs of a diverse population of managed services Clients,” said Tristan Lawrence, a Globix Senior Systems Engineer and key developer of PartnerPlus.
Over the next six months, the PartnerPlus offering will be expanded to include enhanced monitoring services, an expanded suite of business continuity/disaster recovery services and a robust set of security services.
