Globix Expands European NetworkLONDON – January 25, 2001Globix Corporation (NASDAQ: GBIX) today announced that the upgradeof its pan-European backbone network to STM-16 (2.5Gbps) is complete and fully operational.Globix will operate the 2,600-km (1,625-mile), upgradeable, multi-conduit fiber-optic ring through along-term Indefeasible Right of Use (IRU) agreement from a world-class provider of networkservices. This high-capacity fiber-optic ring links Globix network Points of Presence (POPs) and GlobixInternet Data Centers in London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Paris.
