Peter K. Stevenson Peter Stevenson is President and Chief Executive Officer of Globix Corporation. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the company. Since joining Globix in April, 2002, Mr. Stevenson has transformed the organization into a leading provider of application, media, IP infrastructure, and network services. Mr. Stevenson has over 21 years of experience in the communications industry. His visionary, yet pragmatic business approach, has led to positive growth throughout his career. Prior to joining Globix, Mr. Stevenson was a Senior Consultant to Communications Technology Advisors, LLC, a restructuring boutique focusing on distressed telecommunications companies, where he provided strategic planning, restructuring, and overall business counsel. Previously, Mr. Stevenson was the Founder and CEO of Net One Group, Inc., a Northern Virginia based telecom investment and management company. Prior to this, Mr. Stevenson was a co-founder of Net Uno, one of the largest cable television, CLEC, and ISP carriers in Venezuela. He served as a Strategic Advisor to the Board of Directors to this company throughout 2001, following his return to the United States. Earlier in his career, Mr. Stevenson was a Partner and Vice President for Wave International, an international telecom investment and management firm focused on developing companies in international markets. He spent nearly 13 years at Bell Atlantic Corporation where his last position was Managing Director of Corporate Development. Mr. Stevenson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA. Robert M. Dennerlein Robert Dennerlein is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Globix Corporation. Appointed to CFO in May, 2003, Mr. Dennerlein is committed to strengthening the foundation of the business by enforcing rigorous financial controls and proven financial management. Prior to joining Globix, Mr. Dennerlein served as Vice President and Controller for OpNext, a global optical components joint venture created by a spin-off from Hitachi and a venture capital investment by Clarity Partners. Previously, Mr. Dennerlein served as the Director of Accounting and External Reporting for Agere Systems (formerly the Microelectronics division of Lucent Technologies). Earlier in his career, Dennerlein held various management positions at International Specialty Products, a global specialty chemicals manufacturer. He also served as Senior Director for ISP Financial Services and Controller for ISP International Operations. Mr. Dennerlein is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Masters in International Business from Seton Hall University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Seton Hall University. Kurt J. Van Wagenen Kurt Van Wagenen is responsible for the strategic operations of the Network Services Group which includes long range fiscal planning and product development for the networking division. Mr. Van Wagenen joined the Company in March, 2001. Prior to the Network Services Group (also known as NEON Communications), Mr. Van Wagenen served in various positions at Verizon Communications from 1997 to 2001. Mr. Van Wagenen’s roles included Director of Consumer Sales and Service, Director of Corporate Strategy and Director of Merger Integration. Prior to Verizon, Mr. Van Wagenen served in various positions at NYNEX Corporation, including Director of New Business Development and Director of Marketing Strategy. Mr. Van Wagenen has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a chartered financial analyst (CFA). Robert M. Petrie Robert Petrie is responsible for US Sales, Sales Engineering, and Training in the hosting, managed services, and media product lines. Prior to joining Globix, Mr. Petrie co-founded Aptegrity, Inc., the industry’s first Managed Service Provider, which was acquired by Globix in November, 2003. While at Aptegrity, Mr. Petrie was responsible for managing corporate operations for the company, including corporate technologies, processes, and capabilities. Prior to co-founding Aptegrity, Mr. Petrie spent nine years at EDS as an application developer, project manager, and account manager. Mr. Petrie is highly visible in the industry and is regularly a featured speaker at industry events. Mr. Petrie holds a Masters degree in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University. Philip Cheek Philip Cheek joined the Globix team in July, 2000, as Finance Director for the Globix UK Group. Mr. Cheek was promoted to the position of Managing Director of the Globix UK Group in July, 2002, and was immediately responsible for restructuring his territory. Mr. Cheek has full financial responsibility for the Globix UK Group, with focus on revenue growth for the two centrally located data centers and on-going development of the European strategy. Under Mr. Cheek’s stewardship, the region reported a profitable 2003 and strong financial balance sheet. Prior to Globix, Mr. Cheek was Finance Director for ‘Fritz’, a £200 million turnover logistics company. Mr. Cheek has over 15 years experience in senior executive roles with strong emphasis on financial management. Mr. Cheek qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1992 whilst practicing in the United Kingdom. Gene M. Bauer Gene Bauer is Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Globix Corporation. Previously, Mr. Bauer held similar positions at two other public companies, Copley Pharmaceutical, Inc., a developer and marketer of generic pharmaceuticals, and Analogic Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of components used in medical devices. Prior to joining Globix in September, 2005, Mr. Bauer had been in private practice, providing general counsel services to emerging companies. Mr. Bauer began his legal career at two large New York city law firms and also worked at two corporations as an Associate General Counsel. He is an arbitrator for the NASD and NYSE and has won an award from the Center for Public Resources for his role in developing an innovative mechanism for alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Bauer is a graduate of Williams College and Harvard Law School. |
